同等学力英语新大纲(第六版)规定考生需要掌握的词汇量

　　新大纲规定，考生必须掌握约6000个英语词汇和约700个常用词组。对其中的2800个积极词汇要求熟练掌握

　　4.excessive /ɪkˈsesɪv/a.过分的;过度的

　　They complained about the excessive noise coming from the upstairs flat.

　　他们抱怨楼上发出的噪音太大。

　　5.succeed /səkˈsiːd/

　　(1)v.成功;做成 ~ (in doing sth)

　　He succeeded in getting a place at art school. 他被艺术学校录取了。

　　(2)接替;继任
