同等学力英语新大纲(第六版)规定考生需要掌握的词汇量

　　新大纲规定，考生必须掌握约6000个英语词汇和约700个常用词组。对其中的2800个积极词汇要求熟练掌握

　　1.break /breɪk/

　　2.brake /breɪk/

　　(1)v.用闸减速;刹(车)

　　She had to brake hard to avoid running into the car in front.

　　她不得不猛踩刹车，以免撞上前面的车。

　　3.combat /ˈkɒmbæt/

　　(1)v. 战斗 ; 减轻

　　The government is taking action to combat drug abuse.

　　政府正在采取措施，打击滥用毒品。

　　He was killed in combat . 他在战斗中阵亡。

　　4.compete /kəmˈpiːt/

　　7.feat /fiːt/
